Information on adding a card payment to a booking item is available in the video below.
Our default card payment provider is Stripe. We may be able to develop integrations with other payment providers however this does come with associated development time and costs. Payment providers should be discussed during the first phases of implementation and form part of the defined scope.
Adding a card payment is actioned via the configuration menu for the booking item in question.
Clicking the pencil icon allows you to define the currency, amount, and payment method (card) as appropriate. Click Apply to push through the changes.
Once the details have been defined in the initial set up, the payment step needs to be added to the workflow itself.
Navigate to the transition in the workflow where you would like the payment step to be added.
Click the (...) and select 'Add action'. (To read more about Actions, click here)
Select 'Collect payment' from the drop down menu, and click Add.
As well as adding the payment action, it is also important to ensure that candidates are unable to proceed with their application if their payment has not been successfully collected.
This is configured via the 'Add guard' function, and is usually added to the transition immediately after the payment should have been collected. (To read more about Guards, click here)
Click (...) and select 'Add guard', choosing 'All payments are complete' from the drop down menu.
This will now prevent any user from progressing to the next state in the workflow if their payment has not been completed.
